This page is dedicated to the Democratic primaries. To win the nomination a candidate must win at least 1,991 of the total 3,979 pledged delegates. The table to the right is updated often and includes the total delegates each candidate has earned and the polling percent the candidate is receiving on some of the most recent well known polls. The visualization below shows the primaries listed in order and a running total of delegates by candidate. Over a third of delegates will be allocated on Super Tuesday and about two thirds of the possible delegates will be allocated by the end of the month of March.
